Announcing the Paws ʻn Claws Charity Portrait Marathon, an event pet owners wonʼt want to miss. It is a portrait session for your favourite pet, and for a good cause! The cost of the event is $25.00 per pet, plus a bag of Iams dog or cat food – both of which will be donated in full to the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA.The price includes an 8”x10” printed portrait of your furry friend chosen from an online gallery. Additional product purchases will see 50% of proceeds go towards the SPCA.
Pets will have their portrait taken by professional portrait photographer, Judy Cormier of Elementz of Fotographie in the fantastic creative arts building, 270 Sherman. Judy is an award-winning portrait and wedding photographer who has recently expanded her portfolio to include pets. Itʼs a lucky time to be a pet owner.
The event takes place on the weekend of Saturday October 27th and Sunday October 28th, 2012, between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM each day. The event will take place at 270 Sherman Avenue North, Hamilton ON, L8L 6N4. 270 Sherman is an artist studio and film location building in a repurposed 112 year old cotton mill in lower Hamilton. They have donated their event facilities for this worthy cause.
